Russell Westbrook really loves Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood'
Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, one of the NBA's most notorious competitors and a general person you wouldn't want to make angry on the basketball court displayed bad blood on Instagram Friday. Except this version belonged to Taylor Swift.
Westbrook displayed a different side of himself with a selfie video in his car, jamming out to Swift's latest single "Bad Blood." The cinematic video for the song has gone viral, and now it's Russ's turn to push the song.
"Banger," Westbrook calls it in his post. As he hams it up for the camera, it's easy to envision a darker side to his soft exterior. On the inside, he's probably cursing Stephen Curry, James Harden, LeBron James and everyone else still in the playoffs. I won't make another literal "bad blood" joke, but he's Westbrook and he's usually mad, so you get it.
Predictably, Swift was more than pleased.
Hey, if Kevin Durant leaves, maybe Westbrook and Swift can write a breakup song together. Sorry, that was uncalled for.
