On first day of OTAs, DeSean Jackson attends Hawks-Cavs game

DeSean Jackson made the most of his excused absence from Redskins organized team activities, attending Tuesday's Hawks-Cavaliers NBA playoff game

DeSean Jackson didn't show up for the first day of Washington Redskins organized team activities Tuesday. Instead, he attended the Hawks-Cavaliers NBA playoff game.

According to the Washington Post, Jackson notified the Redskins that he would not attend this week's voluntary workouts. And who can blame him, when the alternative is hanging out court-side at the Eastern Conference Finals and taking photos with NBA stars.

Jackson, who caught 56 passes for 1,169 yards in his first season with the Redskins, sat next to Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe and potential 2015 first-round pick Montrez Harrell, then found LeBron James and Kyrie Irving after the game.

Jackson seems awfully cozy with LeBron for a guy who has a history of hot takes directed at the best player in the league.

Guess he changed his mind.
