Paula Abdul judged a presidential dance off at a Nationals game

Tuesday June 9th, 2015

Former pop star and So You Think You Can Dance judge Paula Abdul stopped by Nationals Park over the weekend to test out the skills of the team's mascots and its popular racing presidents.

Things started out with the team's bald eagle mascot Screech joining the former Laker Girl to cut a rug in foul territory to entertain the fans.

That choreography was just a prelude to a modified version of the team's Presidents Race, which saw the founding fathers stopped partway up the track with Abdul being joined by William Howard Taft and Teddy Roosevelt at the judges table as Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington engaged in a dance-off, Let Teddy Win reports

Lincoln came out on top of the contest, but we are all winners when giant felt presidents dance.
