Drazen Petrovic's mom babysat Stephen Curry at '92 3 pt. contest

You would have thought that the apex of stories about young Stephen Curry's adventures in the NBA while his dad, Dell Curry, was playing for the Hornets and Raptors was the video of Muggsy Bougues carrying a young Steph around the locker room.

You would have thought that the apex of stories about young Stephen Curry's adventures in the NBA while his dad, Dell Curry, was playing for the Hornets and Raptors was the video of Muggsy Bougues carrying a young Steph around the locker room.

It turns out there are more wonderful tales of Stephen on the sideline, this time involving Nets star Drazen Petrovic's mother.

It seems that while Dell was competing in the 1992 three-point contest, he needed someone at the arena to keep an eye on the future MVP and Petrovic's mom stepped up to the plate, and 23 years later she is being repaid.

Curry has sent one of his jerseys from the Warriors' Finals series to his former babysitter for display in the Drazen Petrovic Memorial Center, which honors the life of the Croatian star, who died in a car accident in 1993.
