Riley Curry appears to be handling fame pretty well
Riley Curry seems to be handling the spotlight pretty well for a two-year old.
Maybe for someone of any age, really. Life is pretty good for young Riley right now. Her dad's an NBA champion. She's going to be a big sister any day. And she's pretty much a worldwide celebrity. She's taking it all in stride.
Meanwhile, her dad is developing a social media app and trying to win a second championship. And, uh, playing golf. Everything's going well for the Curry family. Even uncle Seth is getting another shot at the NBA, with the Pelicans in Summer League.
But the real star is Riley, who's become aware of her status, according to her father. Her playoff press conference might have been the NBA internet event of the season – well, had the Great DeAndre Jordan Emoji War of 2015 not erupted earlier this week.
But to Riley, it's no stress.
“She’ll walk by the TV and might see herself and be like, ‘Hey, it’s Riley!’” Stephen Curry told Buzzfeed. “She’ll say that and keep moving.”
Though, sometimes she can get shy.
