There's a lion rumored to be running loose in Milwaukee, and the Bucks are sending their mascot Bango to figure out what's happening.

Multiple reports out of Milwaukee news outlets indicate a large feline, believed to be a lion, has been roaming the city's streets over the past few days. People have seen it outside their homes. The authorities are investigating. And there have been 911 calls coming in.

The Milwaukee zoo says all of its lions are accounted for. The odds would seem to favor it being a lion of the mountain variety (a cougar), rather than the exotic sort. But who really knows? It's not really a laughing matter when you consider that it's a large wild animal.

Well, the Bucks are trying to help. Enter mascot Bango. He donned a custom ghillie suit this week before foraying into the streets. Go forth, Bango, be safe.

He checked in on Wednesday. No further news to report.
