The NHL season may be 56 days away but the Red Wings are in midseason pranking form. Johan Franzen had custom sheets of former coach Mike Babcock made for Gustav Nyquist.Franzen posted a photo of the sheets on Instagram with the caption: "Hey Nyquist, I know you been sad ever since your dad signed for Toronto so I had these custom bed sheets made for u so u always can be close to him #detroit #detroitredwings #babcock #nyquist #separationanxiety #nhl." First off, Swedes have a weird sense of humor. Second, I want Bill Belichick sheets. Lastly, I love my headline for this. Thanks, Senator Clay Davis.
Male Tries Out For Heat's All-Female Dance Team. Hilarity Ensues.
I gave away the story in the headline, but the pics and GIFs are tremendous. Also worth noting is that the male is Keith Davis, who owns a dance studio and seems more than qualified to dance for an NBA team. Unfortunately, he was cut after the third round.

Not to be outdone, White Sox outfielderTrayce Thompson hit his first home run in the majors, where he was greeted with silence by his teammates in the dugout.
