IK Enemkpali has ‘violence in his punch,’ says NFL scouting report

IK Enemkpali has gone from unknown third string linebacker to one of the most talked about players in the league after a locker room altercation in which he broke Jets quarterback Geno Smith’s jaw on Tuesday.

While the fight seems to have come as a surprise, the NFL.com scouts must have seen it coming, as they put together an oddly prescient report on the 24-year-old as he was entering the draft.

Before that report was even written, Enemkpali had raised some concerns in the NFL for his temper, after Enemkpali struck an off-duty police officer in a bar after the officer used both pepper spray and a Taser on the then-redshirt freshman at Louisiana Tech, according to ESPN.

The coincidences don't stop there, as Enemkpali gave an interview to JetsInsider.com in December, when he talked about wanting to get a sack and used some now hilarious phrasing.

“Oh man, it feels like I ain’t sacked a quarterback in years,” Enemkpali said with a big grin. “So, it’s going to be good to go out there and get my hands on the quarterback.”

To add to the hilarity of the whole situation, Wikipedia vandals decided to chime in on the altercation.

Geno Smith quickly took to Instagram himself, to let his fans know he is unfazed.
