Sabres winger Evander Kane uses billboard to win back girlfriend
Buffalo Sabres winger Evander Kane and his girlfriend, model Mara Teigen, were going through a rough patch a few weeks ago. They both posted (and later deleted) photos on Instagram that not-so-subtly hinted at a breakup.
Kane must have felt bad about something, so he bought a billboard over the posh L.A. nightclub 1 Oak and put Teigen’s face on it, along with her agent’s information. Of course, TMZ snapped a picture.

Whether the stunt landed Teigen any jobs is unknown, but it helped Kane win her heart. TMZ tracked Teigen down in L.A. and asked her what she thought of the gesture.
If only Kane could have used the same strategy to salvage his relationship with his Winnipeg teammates.
