Tom Brady is approaching the 400 touchdown milestone for his career, and he knows he would not have gotten there without his teammates and his head coach, which probably explains why he holds Bill Belichick in higher regard than Pope Francis.

The four-time Super Bowl winner was asked on Wednesday "do you rank Bill or the Pope higher?" causing Brady to laugh and reply "In Bill We Trust!"

Of course the reporter did not clarify what Brady was ranking, so we do not really know what the quarterback thinks Belichick outranks the Bishop of Rome in: Football wins? Definitely. Speaking Latin? No way. Jewelry collection? Probably a tie.

Brady also talked about meeting a previous pontiff, Pope John Paul II, back in 2003, saying it was “very brief ... but pretty cool and definitely worth it,” according to The Associated Press.
