Everyone's Pulling For Lamar Odom
Former NBA star Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a brothel outside of Las Vegas on Tuesday, and the more reports are updated from the situation, the worse it looks for Odom. According to E! News, it’s possible Odom sustained brain damage from what’s looking like a drug overdose. Numerous NBA players, such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem have shared their support for Odom. SI’s Lee Jenkinschronicled Odom’s difficult journey in March 2009. Here’s hoping Odom pulls through.
Deiondre Porter Gets The Boot
Two days after Gators quarterback Will Grier was suspended one year for PED use, Florida defensive back Deiondre Porterwas suspended as well, under much more serious circumstances. Porter has been sent away from the team indefinitely after an arrest on multiple charges, including four felonies. Police say Porter held a gun to the head of his pregnant girlfriend, and later fired the gun in her direction.
