Nike 'Snow Day' spot takes us into an athlete-filled world

Nike-created worlds are the best kind of worlds. This is a world where Carli Lloyd kicks off in the best “Snow Day” neighborhood football game ever played. A world where Ndamukong Suh and Rob Gronkowski captain streetball football squads and a world where Odell Beckham Jr. catches everything with one hand.

A world where NdamukongSuh and Rob Gronkowski captain streetball football squads and a world where Odell Beckham Jr. catches everything with one hand.

In Nike’s latest star-studded advertisement, “Snow Day,” the Portland advertising agency Wieden +Kennedy brought together a host of athletes for a spot that depicts a football game played in a rugged neighborhood. In the snow, obviously.

Of course, along with a bevy of big-name stars strutting their stuff, Nike wants us to see its new winter products, so we see the Swoosh adorning the likes ofGronkowski, Suh, Beckham Jr., Le’Veon Bell, EugenieBouchard, Antonio Brown, Elena Delle Donne, Marlen Esparza, Paula Findlay, Lauren Fisher, Paul George, A.J. Green, Draymond Green, Luke Kuechly, Sydney Leroux, Lloyd, Marcus Mariota, LeSean McCoy, Ben Roethlisberger, Eric Weddle and Steven Stamko. It will air on Oct. 29 during Thursday Night Football.
