Rams' Chris Long appears in local news report while buying Powerball tickets
Thursday January 14th, 2016

Chris Long may have a high-paying contract with the Rams, but that does not make him immune from catching Powerball fever, and the defensive end was lucky enough to run into a local news crew as he purchased his tickets in his hometown in Virginia. Long decided to take the opportunity to have some fun with his big dreams for the cash.

Long joked that appearing on the local news was a lifetime goal of his and said he had given the news team a psuedonym for his Levi Garrett-loving, boat enthusiast character.

His brother, Bears offensive lineman Kyle Long, questioned whether Chris was really in costume in the video.

Perhaps Long, who will make $9.75 million next year, was just hoping to win to cover the extra expenses for his upcoming move to Los Angeles.
