A hockey fan made a tough long-distance goal for $100,000 at an ECHL game.

A fan of the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL left the ice $100,000 richer Thursday night after putting the puck through an impossibly small slot from all the way back on the far blue line.

To make the shot even more unlikely, this was the very first time the team had offered the promotion.
