Jared Goff said a dumb thing three years ago, but Yasiel Puig isn’t going to hold it against him.
Look what Goff said after Puig hit a walk-off home run against the Reds on July 28, 2013.
I really hope Yasiel Puig gets a fastball in his ribs tomorrow
— Jared Goff (@JaredGoff16) July 29, 2013
Now, that tweet was sent at about 3 a.m. West Coast time, so maybe Goff wasn’t thinking 100% clearly. Of course, when Goff got picked by the team that now plays in the same city as Puig, it got dug up from oblivion.

It was a mean thing to say about Puig, who is cool and good, but Yasiel is willing to bury the hatchet.

It’s nice to see him reprise the #PuigNotLate hashtag, too.
