The Beatles Take a Swim
Back in 1964, Life Magazine photographer Bob Gomel was sent to Miami Beach to photograph The Beatles. But the hotel where the photo shoot was to take place was swarmed with so many fans that the photo shoot was moved to the private home of Paul Pollak, who owned the Deauville Hotel. The photos never made it to the magazine but they did make it to the internet. Pretty amazing stuff.

Enjoyed this Slate piece on Under Armour's Curry Two sneakers and why you rarely see people wearing them on the street.

Good Movie Alert: Hands of Stone follows the life of Roberto Duran, the Panamanian fighter who made his professional debut in 1968 as a 16-year-old and retired in 2002 at 50. In June 1980, he defeated Sugar Ray Leonard to capture the WBC welterweight title, but shocked the boxing world by returning to his corner in their November rematch, famously saying the words “no mas” (no more.) The movie has a great cast, including Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Usher Raymond, Ellen Barkin and John Turturro. To help promote the movie, I have a pair of boxing gloves signed by Canelo Alvarez and Amir Khan. I'll send one glove to the 100th and 200th person to email me (andy_gray@simail.com) the name of two guys boxing when a "time traveler" was in the crowd. The answer was in A.M. Clicks. Please make the subject line Hands of Stone.

A seven-month study of Donald Trump's tweets ... If you're going to get fired, this is a worthwhile debate for which to get fired.
