Shaq went ‘undercover’ as a Lyft driver

No amount of accents and goofy wigs are able to hide Shaquille O’Neal.

Shaquille O’Neal is 7'1," at least 325 pounds, has a very recognizable voice, is featured heavily in multiple ad campaigns and is a commentator on the popular Inside The NBA television show. It would be very difficult to have any idea who Shaq is and not recognize him immediately.

Despite all this, the Hall of Fame big man is the latest athlete to join in on the Undercover Lyft web series, which puts disguised celebs behind the wheel for the popular ride-hailing app.

O’Neal sports a variety of disguises and even tries out a few accents as he attempts to dupe the riders of Atlanta in the clip, even teaching one passenger how to shoot and calling himself “the greatest free throw coach of all time.”

Surprisingly, a decent number of the riders are surprised when Shaq reveals himself at the end of their ride, but others admit they knew right away and were simply humoring the center.
