Goodell is Alive
The NFL's Twitter account was hacked on Tuesday, saying Roger Goodell died. The tweet, and subsequent tweets mocking the league, were immediately deleted. An NFL official also confirmed that the commish is very much alive.
RIP, Bretagne
Bretagne, the last living search and rescue dog from September 11, passed away on Monday night in Houston. She was one of 300 dogs used to search for missing people after the World Trade Centers collapsed.
His Face is Made of Concrete
LSU pitcher Austin Bain was smoked directly in the face by a line drive during an NCAA Regional game against Rice Monday night. Instead of being rushed to the ER, he stood up and walked off the field. In other college baseball news, NC State coach Elliot Avent executed a beautiful spin move while arguing with an ump.
