WWE congratulates Penguins’ ‘HBK’ line with championship belts

The Penguins are getting some extra perks to go along with the Stanley Cup, courtesy of the WWE.
The pro wrestling company has sent champions in other sports replica’s of its heavyweight belt over the last few years, but the 2016 NHL champs are getting a little extra attention, thanks to the line of Carl Hagelin, Nick Bonino and Phil Kessel, better known to fans as the “HBK” line in honor of their surname initials and wrestling legend Shawn “The Heartbreak Kid” Michaels.

Bonino confirmed to reporters that he and his linemates would all be getting their own championship strap courtesy of the sports entertainment giant.
Bonino confirms that the whole #HBKLine will get matching WWE belts: "That's a nice perk of being named after a wrestler."

The Stanley Cup is nice, but one only gets to keep it for one day. A custom WWE championship belt is a prize one can cherish forever.
