Texas beat Notre Dame in double-overtime and I'm still trying to process everything that happened. Matthew McConaughey got things started with a cheesy inspirational speech to the Longhorns. The first half featured a Malik Zaire overthrow that destroyed someone on the Texas sideline and the rare touchdown handstand by Equanimeous St. Brown. The second half saw Notre Dame erase a 31-14 lead, tie the game at 37 on one of the craziest PATs you'll see all year, before losing in overtime. Twitter was buzzing after the game. I am so excited football season is finally here.
Lena Dunham vs. Odell Beckham Jr.
In case you needed another reason to dislike Lena Dunham, her comments about Odell Beckham Jr. should do the trick. After reading them, I was curious whether she'd end up doing the forced media apology to save face. She did but it was such an annoying apology (who uses terms like 'narcissistic assumptions') that people probably dislike her even more. Can you tell I'm not a fan?
