The loss of Tony Romo for the next four weeks (or make that ... potential loss) hit plenty of fantasy teams hard. Those teams may not be alone in their periods of mourning, says the Providence Journal fantasy sports blog. By taking a look at the sack percentage each team has allowed, Michael Salfino takes a stab at which teams could be without their starting QBs next. Based on these findings, you may want to start shopping Trent Edwards and Ben Roethlisberger now, before it is too late.
Countdown To The Draft
If you've been checking out SI.com's fantasy page lately, you've undoubtedly noticed Roto Evil's breakdown of the 12 best point guards and 12 best shooting guards heading into the season ahead. He'll be back later this week and next with more positional breakdowns. In the meantime, don't forget to check out his comprehensive NBA fantasy draft guide, which is updated regularly.
How Much Is A No. 1 Starter Worth?
Lost amid the free-agent prospects of CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Derek Lowe are the potential suitors for Milwaukee's talented, but injury-prone Ben Sheets. The Hardball Times weighs Sheets' talent with the risk teams bidding for him are willing to accept and comes up with an almost reasonable $16 million, one-year figure. On second thought, maybe that isn't so reasonable. Mr. Sheets, welcome to New York.

We don't do enough fantasy hockey here, an oversight DobberHockey.com surely could help. Take this story about the importance of the season's first five games in establishing, or undoing, a goaltender's mindset for the season ahead. Good advice, we presume, and good news for the likes of the Coyotes' Ilya Bryzgalov.
Oh, What A Difference A Year Makes
With four wins in the season's first six games, the Falcons have transformed from fluke to season-long surprise. How has a team left for dead before the season come back to life? Cold Hard Football Facts identifies five individuals who have carried the water for the franchise this season, and it's not just Matt Ryan, Matt Ryan, Matt Ryan, Matt Ryan and ... oh, OK, Roddy White.
Once a surefire first-rounder, Tracy McGrady's long history of injuries have made him one of the riskiest players in any NBA draft. Given that, it shouldn't come as any surprise that RotoExperts' fantasy hoops roundtable fingers McGrady as the swingman most likely to disappoint this fall. It's a shame for a guy who hasn't even celebrated his 30th birthday.
You Can Never Get Too Much Lineup Advice
Our own David Sabino will be out a little later Thursday with his picks to start and sit this weekend, but if you can't wait, KFFL breaks down all of the potential Week 7 busts and sleepers. Man, all we can say is we hope they are right about Ryan Grant. Six weeks and no TDs. Heck, we could do that.
Come One, Come All
At long last, SI.com has a fantasy football game, complete with all of the drafts, waiver wires, stats and analysis you need. Take the grand tour here and sign up a league. Heck, sign up two leagues if you want. We'll be waiting.
