Fantasy football's real test begins in Week 4, when bye weeks force owners to dig deeper into their rosters to fill out their lineups. Fortunately, there have been plenty of breakout performances from non-marquee players to take note of as the search for replacements and spot starters continues.

Devonta Freeman ran wild to help lift the Falcons in Week 3 against Dallas and scored more points than any other player in Week 3. No quarterback came close to Aaron Rodgers's near-spotless five-touchdown performance on Monday night, but the names that followed immediately behind the reigning MVP in production may have surprised fantasy owners: Andy Dalton, Cam Newton and Tyrod Taylor all outscored Tom Brady, Matt Ryan and other top-tier quarterbacks.

For a complete guide to which upstarts you should ride with and how, our Week 4 player rankings are below.
