We're at the halfway point of the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship, and Xander Schauffele has grabbed a four-shot lead to become the runaway betting favorite at -125. He's 11 under par and a good bet, but to cash in, we suggest backing a player from the pack of pursuers.

Jason Day, currently at +1200 on DraftKings (bet him here) and seven under for the tournament. presents an intriguing live betting opportunity. He won this event in 2018, so we like his familiarity and track record. But this week it's also clicking for him: Day thus far is gaining +2.25 Strokes Gained Around the Green (SG ARG) through two rounds, a key area for success and evidence that Day's short game is locked in..

Schauffele is a proven winner and won't be easy to beat. But Day looks underpriced while sitting in a tie for second place. To collect a nice payout, you've got to take a big swing. Day looks like the best bet.
