Mics Caught Rickie Fowler Yelling at Unruly Fan After Hitting Tee Shot at Players Championship

Rickie Fowler is a fan favorite on the PGA Tour, but during Saturday’s third round of the Players Championship he was not happy with one fan’s behavior during one of his shots, and he let him have it.
Fowler, who made the cut on the number on Friday, hit his tee shot on the par-5, 16th hole on Saturday and then went off on one of the fans standing just a few feet away.
Apparently the spectator didn’t listen to requests for him to silence his phone, which prompted Fowler to point him out right after hitting his shot.
Here’s how it played out:
Here’s video of incident at the 16th tee box. Romano told the same guy moments before to put his phone on silent multiple times.. he didn’t. Rickie was not a fan of him. pic.twitter.com/Vovx1RlM3X

Fowler ended up with a double bogey on hole and finished his third round with a 4-over, 76.
