Tiger Woods Shared Classy Moment With Verne Lundquist After Finishing 16th Hole at the Masters

Longtime sports commentator Verne Lundquist, who is as synonymous with the Masters as some of the game's greatest golfers, is calling his 40th and final tournament at Augusta National this year. ESPN put together an emotional tribute to the CBS announcer, which gave Lundquist himself the opportunity to reflect on some of the best calls he's made at the event.
On Sunday, golf fans were treated to a truly special moment between 15-time major champion Tiger Woods—who may not have many tournaments left himself—and Lundquist.
As Woods prepared to finish up the 16th hole at Augusta National, Lundquist, seated behind the five-time Masters champion, looked on, making for an iconic picture.
Then, Woods made the moment even better, walking up to Lundquist and shaking his hand.

Woods has created countless iconic moments at the Masters, many of which featured Lundquist on the call. But this is the last time the two will share the grounds at Augusta National in the roles golf fans have known them to fill for many years.
Woods clearly recognized that, as evidenced by this classy moment.
