Abraham Ancer won $1,820,000 today with his victory in a playoff at the 2021 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational at TPC Southwind in Memphis.

Ancer made a birdie on the second playoff hole (the 18th) to hold off Sam Burns and Hideki Matsuyama in the three-man playoff. Burns' putt to tie Ancer and extend the playoff lipped out and, just like that, Ancer had his first career victory on the PGA Tour.

Here's the estimated breakdown for how the $10.5 million total purse will be distributed.

The fourth round began with Harris English leading Bryson DeChambeau and Cam Smith by two shots headed into the final found.

English was going for the wire-to-wire victory, which would have been his third of the season, but found trouble on the back nine and ended up tied for fourth when his birdie try on No. 18 slid below the hole. DeChambeau likewise faded and finished T8.

Smith needed a par on No. 18 to make the playoff when this happened:

He made a double and finished T5.
