Remember when this was the big thing in golf? It started nearly two years ago, with Brooks Koepka’s eye-roll caught on tape as Bryson DeChambeau walked by at the 2021 PGA Championship. It turned into one of the biggest stories of 2021, with a lot of antics that seem quite tame amid today's conflicts in the game.

Fans started calling DeChambeau "Brooksie" and there was plenty of social media banter, including Koepka offering free Michelob Ultra to followers to their "Match" that Koepka won easily, there was always something. They even tried to act like they had made up at the Ryder Cup.

But now, apparently, they really have done so. At least according to Koepka. During an Instagram Q&A with his Smash GC team, Koepka said he and DeChambeau have put their feud to rest.

"Believe it or not, we squashed it," Koepka said. “We're good. I actually talk to him quite frequently because of what's going on here at LIV. Pretty much on an every-other-day basis. We've got a good open line of communication. We’ve figured it all out and we’re good."

Who would have thought that?

Koepka is the captain of his team while DeChambeau is the captain of the Crushers, which won the team title at the Mayakoba event on Sunday.
