LIV Golf Mexico Final Payouts, Prize Money: Charles Howell III wins $4 Million

Charles Howell III prevailed in the opener of LIV Golf's second season, winning $4 million from a total purse of $25 million. His Crushers GC won the team title.

The 2023 LIV Golf season debuted this week, as LIV Mexico is the first event in a 14-event schedule. While several new players have defected from the PGA Tour join LIV's ranks, including Mito Pereira, Danny Lee, Thomas Pieters and Brendan Steele, LIV is sticking with one familiar formula from last year: the total prize money.

Like last year, each regular LIV tournament has a purse of $25 million, with $4 million going to the winner of the individual event and $3 million shared among members of the winning team.

Charles Howell III was the big winner at Mayakoba, winning the individual title and helping lift his Crushers GC (with Paul Casey, Bryson DeChambeau and Anirban Lahiri) to a team title.
