New junior event will match state champions

Top boys and girls from 50 states will play inaugural We Are The Fifty on June 12-13 at Florida’s Hammock Beach Resort

Announced: A new tournament will gather the boys and girls junior champions for all 50 states. We Are The Fifty will invite players from each state who won either their state title, local Junior PGA title or placed highest in an overall state junior championship. The inaugural event will be held June 12-13 at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Fla. Information can be found at www.wearethefifty.com or via state golf associations, organizers said.
