Canceled: By the International Golf Federation, the World Amateur Team Championships, officials announced Wednesday, citing the coronavirus pandemic. The two-week event, with the women and men playing consecutively, was scheduled for Oct. 14-17 and Oct. 21-24, respectively, at Tanah Merah Country Club and Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore. In February, the biennial event had been moved from Hong Kong to Singapore because of social unrest on the island.
