Added: By the 3M Open, to a growing list of PGA Tour events that will be played without spectators because of restrictions tied to the coronavirus pandemic, tournament officials announced in a news release. The 3M Open is scheduled for July 23-26 at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minn. Matthew Wolff won the inaugural event last year. The news follows the PGA Tour’s announcement that the first five tournaments of the restarted season will be played without spectators, plus a reported similar arrangement for the PGA Championship. The Tour's season resumed last week after a three-month shutdown because of the coronavirus pandemic as Daniel Berger won the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
