American Brian Gay earned $720,000 from the $4 million purse for his victory Sunday at the PGA Tour’s Bermuda Championship.
For Gay, 48, it was his first victory in more than seven years.
Gay birdied the first playoff hole at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton to hold off fellow American Wyndham Clark. They had tied at 15-under 269 after 72 holes.
