Korn Ferry Tour adds Florida stop for 2021

The Emerald Coast Classic will be played April 1-4 at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s Raven Golf Club in Miramar Beach

Introduced: By the Korn Ferry Tour, a new event for the 2021 season. The Emerald Coast Classic will be played April 1-4 at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s Raven Golf Club in Miramar Beach, Fla. The $600,000 event will feature a 156-man field at the resort on the coast of Florida’s Panhandle. The tour announced a three-year agreement for the tournament. The tour’s complete schedule is expected to be released by the end of the year. In the 2020 season, which was interrupted for 3½ months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the PGA Tour’s top developmental circuit played 22 events, four of which were in Florida.
