2020 RSM Classic: 2 more PGA Tour players WD with illness

Kramer Hickok and Henrik Norlander test positive for COVID-19 during pre-tournament screening, joining Bill Haas in withdrawing

Withdrew: From this week’s RSM Classic, Kramer Hickok and Henrik Norlander, who tested positive for COVID-19, the PGA Tour said in a statement Wednesday. They were tested as part of the tour’s routine pre-tournament screening process. The news follows the withdrawal one day earlier by Bill Haas, who also tested positive for the coronavirus. COVID-19, which has no known cure, has infected nearly 11.5 million in the U.S., resulting in about 250,000 deaths. Alternates Rhein Gibson and Ryan Brehm were given spots in the field. Play begins Thursday at Sea Island (Ga.) Resort’s Seaside Course (tee times).
