Collin Morikawa earns $1.82 million for winning World Golf Championships event, 1st of 4 stops on PGA Tour's Florida Swing

Collin Morikawa earned $1.82 million from the $10.5 million purse for his victory Sunday in the WGC Workday Championship on the PGA Tour.

The tournament, the first of four consecutive events on the Florida Swing, was the richest event to date on the PGA Tour. The 72-hole, no-cut event was moved to The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla., from Chapultepec Golf Club in Mexico City because of travel restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
