2021 Masters odds: Dustin Johnson rates as favorite at Augusta National

Defending champion tops Golfodds.com’s list at 8-1 to win another green jacket, followed by Bryson DeChambeau at 10-1

Dustin Johnson remained the favorite to defend his title at the Masters Tournament next month, according to Monday’s updated odds at Golfodds.com.

Johnson, 36, won the 2020 Masters, which was delayed from its usual spot in the second week of April until November because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Johnson, the No. 1-ranked player in the world and the reigning FedEx Cup champion, was listed at 8-1 odds to win a second green jacket.

Fellow American Bryson DeChambeau, the reigning U.S. Open champion, was the second choice, at 10-1. DeChambeau won the Arnold Palmer Invitational two weeks ago and tied for third Sunday at the PGA Tour's Players Championship.

Countryman Justin Thomas, who rallied from a three-stroke deficit to win the Players title, moved into oddsmakers’ co-No. 3 spot to win the Masters, at 14-1, the same rating as Spain’s Jon Rahm.

Americans Brooks Koepka and Jordan Spieth and Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy, all multiple major champions, were listed as 16-1 picks, followed by Americans Xander Schauffele (20-1) and Patrick Cantlay (25-1) and Norway’s Viktor Hovland (25-1).

The Masters is scheduled for April 8-11 at Augusta National Golf Club.
