Last year, Collin Morikawa shot 6 under in the final round of the 2020 PGA Championship at Harding Park to win by three strokes. At 23, Morikawa won his first major title. While some eyes will be on Morikawa’s title defense, Rory McIlroy should be the lead story heading into the event. 

Not only did McIlroy just win last week at the Wells Fargo Championship, but he will also be defending his PGA Championship title at Kiawah Island. The PGA Championship coverage for this week will increase increase compared to 2020. The tournament will be on ESPN and ESPN+ the entire week through Sunday, and CBS will pick up the afternoon coverage on the weekend. The ESPN+ app will track featured groups, featured holes and the PGA Championship Coaching Channel, which will feature expert analysis of pros’ swings on the course and even the driving range.
