2021 Memorial Tournament tee times

Collin Morikawa and Jon Rahm, who won in consecutive weeks last year at Muirfield Village, will be part of a featured pairing

American Collin Morikawa and Spaniard Jon Rahm, who won in consecutive weeks during an unusual pandemic-inspired doubleheader last year at Muirfield Village, will be paired together in the first two rounds of this week’s Memorial Tournament, the PGA Tour announced Tuesday.

Morikawa, who won the inaugural Workday Charity Open, and Rahm, the Memorial champion, will join American Xander Schauffele at 8:44 a.m. EDT on the 10th tee Thursday in Dublin, Ohio. All are ranked among the top 10 in the Official World Golf Ranking: No. 3 Rahm, No. 5 Schauffele and No. 6 Morikawa.

In the preceding group on the 10th tee, the top-ranked player in the tournament, world No. 2 Justin Thomas, will be paired with fellow American Patrick Reed, who is ranked ninth in the world, and reigning Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, who is No. 14.

In a featured all-American pairing, No. 4-ranked Bryson DeChambeau, the 2018 Memorial winner, will join 2019 Memorial champion Patrick Cantlay and a resurgent Jordan Spieth at 1:32 p.m. on the No. 1 tee.

The winner of the 121-man event will receive $1.674 million from the $9.3 million purse.
