Few North American golf destinations have captured the spirit and feel of the ancient Scottish game as wonderfully as Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the dramatic Pacific coast of southern Oregon.

The splendid Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw-designed Bandon Trails layout, opened in 2005 as the resort's third course, is no exception. "Have Clubs Will Travel" host David Wood showcases the course that starts atop a massive dune and then continues a stirring journey along the bumps and hollows and mounds of the wild and wooly topography. The course wanders through a coastal forest packed with wildlife before finishing back in the dunes.
