Back in November of 2021, Jordan and Annie announced the birth of their first child, Sammy. The Spieth family appeared together at this year’s Masters Par-3 Contest, where young Sammy stole the show.
Last weekend, Spieth was absent during the U.S. Ryder Cup team’s scouting trip to Marco Simone Golf Club in Rome due to his wife’s pregnancy. Nine members of the team spent a few days together at the 2023 venue to practice ahead of the biennial event.
Spieth is set to compete for the American squad Sep. 29-Oct.1 as the U.S. attempts to end a 30-year winless drought overseas.
