DUBLIN, Ohio - It’s possible that LIV golf's Matthew Wolff and his Smash GC team are not on the same page.

First reported by No Laying Up in its twitter account Tuesday, Wolff’s handle @matthew_wolff5 has been taken off both the official Smash GC Twitter and Instagram pages but a photo or reference to the 24-year-old remains on both social media platforms.

To add intrigue to the Wolff situation, he withdrew from the final round of the LIV Golf Washington, D.C. event due to an undisclosed injury. Smash GC is captained by recent PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka and the team also includes Brooks's brother Chase Koepka and Jason Kokrak.

Sports Illustrated reached out to Wolff’s agent Bud Martin and was told that neither he nor his client had a comment. A LIV spokesperson also had no comment.

This season Wolff is 25th on the LIV Golf money list at $2,159,583, having played in seven events with two top 10s: a T5 finish in Orlando, Florida, and a T7 finish at the season opener in Mayakoba, Mexico.

In 2022, Wolff played in seven events and earned a total of $4,226,167 in finishing 21st on the LIV Golf money list.

Wolff played 64 events on the PGA Tour as a professional with one win, the 3M Open in July 2019. His career earnings were $7,607,287.
