Golf World Roasts Brooks Koepka for Historically Bad Ryder Cup Loss After Taking Shot at Jon Rahm

Brooks Koepka got the golf world buzzing on Friday evening after he took a shot at Jon Rahm following the afternoon four-ball session at the Ryder Cup.
Then on Saturday morning, Koepka had the golf world buzzing yet again—but this time for even more embarrassing reasons, as he and Scottie Scheffler went out and suffered the worst loss in Ryder Cup foursome history by getting smoked by Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg, 9 and 7.
The loss left Scheffler in tears and has Team USA looking worse than it did in Friday’s awful showing. Europe is now in even more control of the Ryder Cup after going 3-1 in Saturday morning’s foursomes.
Here’s how the match, which lasted just over two hours, ended:
The largest win in @RyderCup foursome history. 🇪🇺💪

The golf world had fun taking shots at Koepka:
Brooks Koepka chirping Jon Rahm for “acting like a child” and losing 9&7 the very next day is 12/10 funny considering an actual child may have put up a better fight than Koepka on the golf course, today. #RyderCup

Koepka decided to run his mouth last night.

To see him & Scheffler get humbled 9&7 in the biggest winning margin ever by Hovland & Aberg is very satisfying. #RyderCup
Koepka is 6 down, one wonders which member of the European Ryder Cup team he’ll attack to take away from his own failings.

All for smack talk if you can back it up. Koepka down 7 thru 9 (w/ Scheffler) after taking an unnecessary shot at Rahm ain't that

Koepka has the demeanour of a guy who has thrown the towel in. You’d think a three day event would suit him.

The irony of Koepka calling Rahm a child, then going on and letting Hovland and Aberg be his Daddies.

Brooks Koepka on Friday: "I want to hit a board and pout just like Jon Rahm did. But, you know, it is what it is. Act like a child. But we’re adults. We move on."

Koepka on Saturday: Loses 9&7
Rahm on Saturday: Wins 2&1

Brooks is a great player and made his way onto the team on the merits. But his DGAS, all-about-me demeanor seems like poison in an event that depends so much on team chemistry.
