Cameras Catch Hilarious Moment Between Sam Burns and Scottie Scheffler’s Caddie

It’s well known that Scottie Scheffler, the No. 1 player in the world, and Sam Burns, currently ranked No. 14, are extremely close friends.
The two PGA Tour players travel together on the road, and earlier this season they had the chance to go head-to-head at the Dell Match Play, where Burns ultimately came out victorious.
On Friday at the Charles Schwab Challenge, Burns and Scheffler were paired together in a featured group where their bond was again on full display.
During the round, TV cameras caught a hilarious moment between Burns and Scheffler’s caddie, Ted Scott, which only further demonstrates how comfortable the pair and their circles are with each other.
PGA Tour players often help each other out by tossing divots back to caddies so they can quickly and effectively repair the turf. In this priceless clip, however, Burns’s throw cannot quite be described as a “toss.”
We got it, Scottie!

“You guys get that?” Scheffler asked the cameraman after Burns absolutely nailed Scott in the face with the piece of grass.
Indeed they did.
