Time for another edition of Four! Things after a busy golf week in the U.S. and abroad.

More From this Week's Weekly Read: Optimism is High These Days at LIV Golf | Rickie Fowler's Not-So-Secret Weapon | PGA Tour Officials to Testify at Senate | Fore! Things: Straka Rallies at the Deere

1. Sepp Straka captured his second PGA Tour victory with a win at the John Deere Classic, shooting a final-round 9-under-par 62.

2. Straka won by two over Brendan Todd and Andrew Smalley despite a double-bogey 6 on the 18th hole. He stood on the 18th tee at 11 under par for his round and needed a birdie to shoot 59.

3. The Genesis Scottish Open is a co-sanctioned event between the PGA Tour and DP World Tour and will see approximately 75 players from each tour in the field this week. Xander Schauffele is the defending champion. There is also an opposite event at the Barbasol Championship which is also co-sanctioned.

4. Rasmus Hojgaard won the DP World Tour’s Made in Himmerland event in Denmark for his fourth DP World Tour victory. He was already exempt for the Open. Three players – Nacho Elvira, Kalle Samooja and Marc Warren qualified via the Open Qualifying Series.

Four! More Things

1. This week’s Genesis Scottish Open will offer three spots in the Open to the top three finishers not otherwise exempt, provided they make the cut.

2. Bryson DeChambeau had a familiar face caddying for him at the LIV London event: Tim Tucker. The duo had somewhat infamously broken up two years ago just two weeks prior to the British Open. Tucker now caddies for Kurt Kitayama and will return to his bag this week at the Genesis Scottish Open. DeChambeau’s regular caddie, Greg Bodine, had a personal engagement and needed the week off.

3. Since tying for second with Brooks Koepka, four shots back of winner Jon Rahm at the Masters, Phil Mickelson has mostly struggled, especially in LIV Golf events. He tied for 58th at the PGA Championship and missed the cut at the U.S. Open. His best finishes have been a tie for 11th at LIV Adelaide and a tie for 13th at LIV Singapore. He’s also had two results worse than 40th. He tied for 40th last weekend at the LIV London event.

4. The first round of the British Open at Royal Liverpool is 10 days away.
