Golf Channel commentator Todd Lewis shares his takeaway of Phil Mickelson and his historic PGA Championship victory after interviewing the 50-year-old champion all week. Lewis saw a mentally prepared, even-keeled Mickelson, and Lewis shares more detail from their interactions.
Lewis also explains how challenging it was to persuade Mickelson's shy swing coach, Andrew Getson, to do an interview; the role Tim Mickelson, Phil's brother and caddie, played all week; and how working for Golf Channel provides a rare seat in the game.
