Hawk & Purk share their thoughts on two of golf’s greatest champions. Purkey calls this week’s event at Torrey Pines “the biggest tournament of the year,” which upends the notion that the PGA Tour doesn’t really get going until the Florida Swing. Not so now. Woods, who needs one victory to pass Sam Snead on the Tour’s all-time victory list, will face an all-star lineup of competitors on the scenic bluffs overlooking the Pacific. Plus, it will be an early preview of the 2021 U.S. Open site.
