Greg Maddux talks about winning in baseball, golf and life

The World Series champion and Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher knows a thing or two about success. Here are his tips for how to handle victories and setbacks in various areas of life

In the latest episode of our new addition to the Morning Read Podcast Network, host Brian Hurlburt chats with Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher (and avid golfer) Greg Maddux, who discusses what it was like to win a World Series, and to win a state high school title. He also mentions a fortune cookie that inspired him, and how he faced failure head on, even during his stunningly successful career.

Maddux, whom Hurlburt calls "Mr. Only" because of his many baseball records, takes us inside the dugout and out to the pitching mound with incredible insights and memories, all while paying homage to the excellence of John Smoltz, Tom Glavine, Magic Johnson and others.
