Damian Lopez, who caddies for PGA Tour pro Michael Thompson, was one of the first people associated with the Tour to test positive for COVID-19 when play resumed in June. At the time, he was asymptomatic.

Just over two weeks ago, upon arrival in Houston for the Houston Open, Lopez tested positive a second time. Hours later, symptoms set in and he was locked down in an area hotel room for 14 days. He describes the symptoms he experienced, how he got through it and how important it is to take the illness seriously. Lopez returns to work this week at the RSM Classic.
