Fairway View: Whistling Straits
See why Whistling Straits has ascended to become one of the Midwest's — if not the nation's — premier courses.

Whistling Straits adds another jewel to its collection by hosting the 43rd Ryder Cup on its Straits Course. The Pete Dye-designed course has previously hosted the PGA Championship (2004, 2010, 2015) and the U.S. Senior Open (2007).
The course, opened in 1998 as an amenity to the American Club resort near Sheboygan, Wis., has a distinct Scottish links feel as it stretches nearly 2 miles along the jagged Lake Michigan coastline. Eight Strait holes sit against the water and are exposed to whatever winds a given day may bring.
The latest "Fairway Views" episode showcases the course that is equal parts beauty and beast.
