Sydney Marovitz: Classic 9-holer in Chicago skyline's shadow

Sydney Marovitz Golf Course, an aged and fun 9-hole course that sits against Lake Michigan in the shadow of Chicago's skyline, is featured in the latest Instagram-curated 'Fairway View' #fvinstashots

There may not be a nine-hole course that has better views than Sydney Marovitz Golf Course in Chicago. On one side there are the scenic vistas of Lake Michigan and its various harbors. On the other side are Lake Shore Drive and the skyscrapers of downtown.

"Fairway View" looks at Sydney Marovitz, which originally opened as Waveland Golf Course in 1932 and is part of the Chicago Park District portfolio of courses. The mature course plays to par 36 and 3,265 yards.
